About Me

I am an imaging researcher at Samsung Research America. Previously I was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Los Alamos National Laboratory, NM, USA. I recieved my PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, USA. My PhD advisors were Prof. Charles Bouman and Prof. Gregery Buzzard. During my PhD, I had worked briefly at the Advanced Photon Source, Argonne National Laboratory, IL, USA. Prior to joining Purdue University, I received my B.Tech in Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. My broad research interests include signal and image processing, pattern recognition and communication. 

My PhD research focused on computational imaging methods to improve the quality and speed of tomographic imaging. During my PhD, I had worked on various research collaborations with Eli Lily, Canadian Light Source, Argonne National Laboratory, General Electric, Northup Grumman, and Air Force Research Laboratory. These collaborations had lead to several publications and open-source software packages.
